Expansion of SADC share capital

SADC has been further strengthened by its shareholders through the introduction of land and capital with a value of € 80 million. Following a redistribution of assets, the shareholders (the Province of Noord-Holland, municipalities of Amsterdam and Haarlemmermeer and Schiphol Group) now each own one quarter of SADC. The recent injection of capital is aimed at strengthening regional cooperation. SADC will thus help to further strengthen the Amsterdam metropolitan region’s international competitive position in the long term.

As a result of the reinforcement, the SADC portfolio has now been expanded to a total of ten locations. Business Park Amsterdam Osdorp, PolanenPark and De President are currently being divested. Through a phased process, SADC will be developing its existing and new locations into high quality work locations. According to Ruud Bergh, director for SADC, ‘The expansion of our land portfolio will allow us to coordinate regional area development more effectively while offering a differentiated range of locations that meet the market’s requirements in both the short and long term’.
