Logistics service provider Van der Helm has signed a long-term lease agreement with KKR-Mirastar to rent approximately 15,000 m2 of space in the Schiphol Logistics Centre at Schiphol Trade Park. Van der Helm is a family business founded in 1936 and has branches in Den Hoorn, Moerdijk, Miami and São Paulo. It is the second lessee at the centre, joining DKL B.V., who are currently renting approximately 16.500 m2. Two units of approximately 7,500 m² each are still available for rent. These can be rented separately or together.
Schiphol Logistics Centre is a state-of-the-art development by Minerva, acquired by KKR-Mirastar. Contractor Dijkham Bouw BV completed construction at the end of January 2022. When designing the building, Dedato Architects were particularly careful to create a ‘green look’: sustainability is a characteristic not only within the building but also of the exterior, which includes natural features. You can read more about the distinctive design of the centre in our earlier news item from November 2020.
