ICE Robotics signed a lease agreement on 1 May 2020 for 10,300 m2 at Amsterdam Business Campus Square (Abc Square), in the heart of Schiphol Trade Park. The company is renting units 6 and 7. It is the third company to rent space in the complex, joining OTX and PVH. One unit remains available.
Abc Square was a joint development between VolkerWessels Logistics Development and Delta Development Group, then sold to Barings Real Estate on behalf of institutional investors. Abc Square consists of 37,000 m2 of high quality, sustainable industrial space, offices and multifunctional space. Large-scale business premises for production, storage and logistics are situated on the west side of the development. The complex was completed in March 2020.
ICE Robotics is focused on reducing repetitive tasks for cleaning professionals by developing autonomous cleaning equipment such as robots and associated technologies. Its product range includes an autonomous vacuum cleaning robot called Whiz, and the RS-26 robotic scrubber, which is marketed around the world via a subscription-based business model. ICE Robotics EMEA is a division of the Intelligent Cleaning Equipment (ICE) Group, headquartered in Hong Kong.
Cochel ter Schure, COO of ICE Robotics: “ICE Robotics is an innovative and sustainable company that puts its employees first. The excellent accessibility for our staff, the impressive appearance of the office and experience centre, combined with the efficient logistics space were decisive in our decision to choose Abc Square.”
