Somerset Capital Partners and AM Real Estate Development have signed an agreement for the development of a lot measuring approx. 88,000 m2 at the Schiphol Trade Park business park in Hoofddorp. The physical environment permit application will be filed in the first quarter of 2017. A large-scale logistics centre will be developed on the lot.
Direct Connection to A4 motorway
The Schiphol Trade Park location is a perfect match for the stated goals of Somerset and AM RED: to develop and implement modern logistics systems at high-quality multimodal locations. Schiphol Trade Park (142 acres available) is located only five minutes away from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and has its own direct connection to the A4 motorway. The location is ideally situated, with excellent public transport facilities, cycling routes and footpaths making it easily accessible for personnel. Hoofddorp train station and the Zuidtangent bus rapid transit service are located only a stone’s throw away from the area to be developed.
